The division of the process is that one person continuously completes the two ends of the lathe, drills the two center holes, and then changes the workpiece to process. Repeat the above content, then this part of the process is a process.

After the person completes the outer circles of rough turning, the outer circles of semi-finished turning, and chamfering continuously on the same lathe, he changes to another workpiece and repeats the above content, then this part of the process is another process.

If one person continuously completes the two end surfaces of the turning, drilling of the two center holes, each outer circle of the rough turning, each outer circle of the semi-finishing turning, chamfering, and then repeats these contents for the second workpiece on a lathe, then this part The process is one process, not two processes.

(2) The working step refers to the part of the process that is completed when the machined surface of the workpiece, the cutting tool, and the speed and feed rate in the cutting amount are kept constant in a process. The process of processing more surfaces can be divided into several steps. A working step is the basic unit that constitutes a process.

(3) The cutting tool cuts off a layer of allowance from the machined surface, which is called a cutting. When the margin to be removed is too large to be possible or suitable for one cut, it can be divided into several cuts.

(4) The part of the process completed after the workpiece is clamped (positioned and clamped) once is called installation.

(5) Station Relative to the fixed part of the tool or equipment, each processing position occupied by the workpiece is called a station. In most cases, the workpiece is installed only once in a process, and sometimes it may be installed multiple times.
