Moisture-proof method of stainless steel stud bolts

Feb 08, 2022 View: 953

In order to make stainless steel studs better against moisture and rust, we have to take some preventive measures:

1. Use impregnating paint that does not contain oxidizing components, such as epoxy urethane-based or unmodified epoxy-based impregnating paint, and apply it to the surface of the stud. Choose paints that do not contain volatile acids. The oscillating machine should use solvent-free paint as much as possible.

2. When using melamine alkyd impregnating paint, the curing temperature and curing time should be adjusted. The curing temperature is slightly higher than 130 ℃ (such as 135 ℃) and the curing time is more than 180min, and it is necessary to strictly implement the process. Especially in the high temperature and humid season, the vibrating screen is from the point of view of rust prevention. The regular paint drying (curing) time in the paint factory's sample is not necessarily sufficient, and the motor has a specific inner shape.

3. The anti-corrosion treatment of stainless steel surface refers to the use of various methods to apply a protective layer to the metal surface. Its function is to isolate the metal from the corrosive environment, so as to inhibit the occurrence of the corrosion process or reduce the contact between the corrosive medium and the metal surface, so as to avoid or reduce the corrosion.
