Methods of preventing stainless steel screws and nuts from being welded

Jan 23, 2022 View: 828

We all know that self-tapping screws do not need to be used with nuts, because they are self-locking and can be fixed in the workpiece. But did you know that in some cases, the stainless steel screws of the machine teeth cannot be used with nuts. In order to avoid this situation, we can refer to the following pre-simulation measures during assembly:

1. When the screw used is stainless steel, use a copper nut to match it to avoid "fusion"

2. Apply some lubricant to the threaded rod of the screw before tightening the nut.

3. Use imitation occlusal agent to imitate stainless steel screws and nuts to be deformed and sintered together at high temperature.
