The reason why stainless steel self-tapping screws are easy to break

Jan 21, 2022 View: 769

The weight of stainless steel self-tapping screws is important both when quoting and when shipping. With a little less weight, the cost of the product will drop a little. Most of the time, customers are also very cost-conscious when choosing a supplier.

Therefore, during production, some screw manufacturers will choose to make the bottom hole of the screw small, so that the thread diameter of the stainless steel self-tapping screw produced is also within the tolerance range, and the weight of the screw will also be reduced, but this way The disadvantage of the produced screws is that they are easy to break.

Because the bottom diameter of the thread of the screw becomes smaller, the force that the screw can withstand will also become smaller, just like a chopstick and a chopstick. With only one chopstick, we broke it easily, but with one chopstick, we had a hard time breaking it, and so did the screws.
